Our Mission

Calvary316 is a non-denominational, Bible-centered church in Winder, Georgia. We were founded in 2013 with one mission: to teach the whole Bible and make whole Christians who will, in turn, reach the whole world. We believe many people haven’t left the church because they got busy. They left because they grew tired of churches that focused more on attracting seekers than caring for their members, putting healthy Christian growth on the back burner. At Calvary316, we make no apologies for wanting to be a church for the Christian.

Because the Word of God is living and powerful, it alone can bring real change to a person’s life, marriage, and family. So instead of offering another program, we teach the whole counsel of God verse by verse and chapter by chapter. We work through entire books of the Bible honestly, without skipping the hard passages. In a culture that’s always changing, we stay relevant by bringing the changeless Gospel to a changing world.

Our worship is contemporary, but our aim is to exalt the name of Jesus, not to put on a show. Our setting is casual and relaxed, a place where the whole family can worship the Father in Spirit and truth. From adult teaching to kids’ ministry, we teach God’s Word in an engaging, down-to-earth way so everyone leaves knowing more of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the end, our heart is to be an authentic, simple expression of what Jesus called His church to be. If you’ve been longing for something deeper, join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, or watch online on Facebook and YouTube.
