Youth

At Calvary316, we believe adolescence is a non-Biblical construct. Scripturally, we have presented only two categories: adults and children. With this in mind, our youth ministry is designed to prepare kids to become functioning members of our church community by the time they become upperclassmen in High School. Though every middle school and high school student is invited to our monthly events, our Sunday class is for 6th-10th graders. Once your child transitions to 11th grade, we encourage them to start attending the adult service.

How does Sunday work?

All our youth begin the morning in the sanctuary with opening worship songs. It’s a great way to start the morning! Then, Pastor Zach will dismiss them just before Bible study so they can head upstairs for their own Bible study led by our youth pastor, Derek Kennedy. You’ll find the room just to the right of the balcony, and we promise it’ll be a welcoming space full of meaningful discussions and connections.
